Rental Policies

Additional Driver

The renter and whoever wants to be added on to drive will need to sign the rental agreement for the additional driver.

There is a fee per day for each additional driver.

Age Requirements

Customers must be 25 years of age in order to rent the following types of vehicle: Convertible, Luxury, SUV, and Specialty vehicles

Authorized Driving Areas

Rental vehicles cannot leave the state of Florida, but are not restricted within the state.

Cash Rentals

Cash is not accepted for Rentals.

Credit Cards

Payments can be made with any major credit card.
Debit and Check Cards can only be used for payment at the end of the rental use. Customers must present a valid credit card, with available credit, at the time of initial rental. The credit card must be under the renter's name.

Debit Cards

Debit and Check Cards are not accepted. Can only be used for payment at the end of the rental use.

Driver's License Requirement

To rent vehicles, a valid driver's license is required.

Early Return Policy

You only get charged for the time you rent the vehicle.

No Show

A no show fee will only apply to prepaid reservations.

Terms and Conditions

A reservation payment on RoyalRentaCar.com is a real-time transaction, the card you use is immediately authorized and charged when you confirm to prepay.
The method of prepayment cannot be changed after reservation confirmation.
All discounts and specials apply to the base rate only.

When you pick up your prepaid rental:

The credit card and a valid driver’s license must be presented and the names must exactly match the name on the reservation.
No debit card or check card accepted.
The credit card that was used to prepay online must be presented at time of pick up.
If you are unable to satisfy the credentials or requirements including a Credit Card hold of $250 at the location when you pick up your car, a new reservation must be made at the prevailing rate and you must request a refund for the original prepaid reservation at 1-(800)-314-8616

Canceling a Prepaid Reservation

Cancellation Fee - If the reservation is cancelled more than 24 hours before the pickup time, a $10 cancellation fee will be assessed. If the reservation is cancelled within 24 hours of the pick up or is not picked up at all, a no-show fee of up to $50 will be assessed.

NOTE: All rentals are subject to Royal Rent A Car standard qualifications and policies of the Royal Rent A Car agreement in effect at the time and place of the rental.

Rental Extensions

You will need to contact the Royal Rent A Car office to discuss the availability of an extension.

If you like to extend your current rental for one day past the original due date, and are making no other changes to your rental, you do not need to call Royal Rent A Car. You will be charged the extra day price that appears on your rental agreement.

Vehicle Return

 The vehicle must be returned to one of our locations.
